I have lived in the Philippines 4 years.most everything is sweet, including the bread. A lot of the recipes were developed in WWII, Pork and beans,m, and peanut butter.. Sweet potato is called Kamote. They like there vinegar her, it is in adobo.

you can survive for a week or 2 with your 100$ in the PH, its more than enough for a street food. For fried street foods like calamari, isaw etc. its about the sauce
